About Our Name

Vne Electric LLC.  What the heck is Vne?  Well, when I was formulating the company, I wanted a catchy name that stood out.  Over the course of months, I Googled any good name that came to mind.  I was surprised to see every stinking one of those names had already been taken in some form or another.  Technically, if the company is in another state, I'm good to use the name for my Virginia based business.  However, to avoid any potential confusion, I chose to go with something slightly esoteric.  I chose Vne Electric.  

Vne pays homage to my aviation background.  

Vne stands for Velocity, never exceed.  

It is the red line on an airplane's airspeed indicator.  It's as fast as the plane can go before bad things start to happen.  I like to stay below that airspeed when I fly.  Work is no exception.  I've seen former coworkers tear through a project like a bull in a china shop.  They clearly exceeded their own personal Vne.

Abraham Lincoln once said that if he had 15 minutes to cut down a tree, he would spend the first 10 sharpening his axe.  I take this to heart. Throughout your entire experience with me, you won't find me to be the bull in a china shop.  I take the time to understand you and what you need, rather than assume what you need or want.  Even if you're not entirely sure of what you want, I'll take the time with you and hash out the best approach and solution to make your life better.
